Do you want to introduce your children to our rich culture and heritage? The Hare Krishna Movement has initiated a weekend program on ‘Indian Culture and Values for Kids’ (ICVK) in Thiruvanmiyur, to be held over a four-month semester.
MEANT FOR WHICH ARE GROUPS?
The ICVK program is offered for four batches.
• Gopala 3 to 6-year-olds
• Keshava 6 to 9-year-olds
• Govinda 9 to 12-year-olds
• Madhava 12 to 15-year-olds
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PROGRAM
• Contemporary methods used to teach values to your children based on ancient Sanskrit texts like Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, etc.
• Play-way methodology used for younger children
• Sumptuous prasadam for children and parents at 12.00 noon.
• Children not only learn to chant Bhagavad-Gita shlokas but also understand the meaning.
• Prior knowledge of Sanskrit not essential
HOW WILL YOUR CHILDREN BENEFIT?
• Values-based education builds character in children by instilling important traits like loyalty, obedience, respect, discipline, truth, non-violence, compassion, friendliness, tolerance, and faith.
• Active participation of kids in religious and cultural festivals help them learn about and appreciate their rich heritage.
• At the close of the program, the children will put up a stage performance presenting their learnings and experiences over the four-month semester.
ADMISSION FEES
• Course fees per semester : ₹ 3000
SPECIAL OFFER : ₹ 2000 per semester
• The course fee includes study material and art and crafts materials.
